Employees of the Orthodox faith, in order to celebrate the religious holiday of Easter, have the right to paid leave on April 18, 20 and 21.
Employees who wish to celebrate a religious holiday are obliged to inform their employer about it, no later than three days before the religious holiday.
Employers may organize work during religious holidays; however, employees who work during these holidays must receive an increase of at least 150% on their base hourly wage.
Employers are obligated to notify the Labour Inspection in advance about work arrangements during the holidays, no later than three days before the holiday.
A form is attached and should be sent to the e-mail address: milodarka.kuveljic@mrzs.gov.me.
Employers must inform employees about their work schedule during the holidays via a notice board.
