NON-WORKING DAYS FOR BAYRAM

Employees of the Islamic faith have the right to paid leave on March 30, 31, and April 1 in observance of Ramadan Bayram.

Employees who wish to celebrate the religious holiday must inform their employer no later than three days before the holiday.

Employers may organize work during religious holidays; however, employees working on these days must receive at least a 150% increase in their base hourly wage.

Employers are required to inform the Labor Inspection in advance about work arrangements during the holiday.

The required form is attached and should be sent to the following email address: milodarka.kuveljic@mrzs.gov.me.

Employers must notify employees of their work schedule during the holiday via the notice board.

Attached are notification forms for both employees and the Labor Inspection.
