WHAT IS AN ARCHIVE CERTIFICATE AND HOW TO OBTAIN IT?

According to the new rules, for your diploma to be nostrified in Montenegro, you must submit an archive certificate to the Ministry of Education. This document is an official confirmation of the authenticity of your diploma, and the process of obtaining it is as follows:

  1. Contact the educational institution – Send an email to the school or university that issued your diploma and request the archive certificate.
  2. Receipt and printing of the document – Once you receive the certificate, print it.
  3. Translation by a certified translator – The document must be translated by a certified court translator in Montenegro.

DEADLINE FOR NOSTRIFICATION: After submitting the archive certificate, the Ministry of Education issues a Decision on diploma recognition within 14 days.
